Reykjavik (Iceland) - "Midnight Sun Run". The Suzuki Midnight Sun Run is a unique and exciting race that takes place during the summer solstice in the heart of Reykjavík. Participants run under the midnight sun, creating a magical and unforgettable atmosphere. The race offers various distances, so everyone can find something that suits them. Whether you're an experienced runner or a beginner, the Suzuki Midnight Run is a fantastic way to enjoy exercise and the beauty of nature at the same time. The 2026 Suzuki Midnight Sun Run will take place on the evening of June 25th. The location is Laugardalur, Reykjavik. Registration for the 2026 Suzuki Midnight Sun Run is open. Those interested in registering (or registering other interested runners) can register for the following distances: Half marathon - age limit 15 years 10 km race - not recommended for under 12 years old 5 km race. Runners participating in all three distances will start and end in Laugardalur. Laugardalur is in full bloom by this time of year. Reykjavik (Iceland) - "Reykjavik Marathon". The Reykjavík Marathon is one of Iceland's biggest and most celebrated running events, held every year in Reykjavík, the country's capital. It attracts thousands of runners from all over the world, thanks to its scenic routes, cool weather, and festive atmosphere. The Reykjavík Marathon has been held annually in downtown Reykjavík since 1984. In recent years, the marathon has taken place on the same day as Reykjavík Culture Night, which is celebrated in Reykjavík on the Saturday closest to the city's anniversary. The Íslandsbanki Reykjavík Marathon will take place on the 22nd of August, 2026. The Reykjavík Marathon offers three race distances: 42.2 km, 21.1 km, and 10 km, along with a fun run that includes a 3 km and a 1.7 km route. This ensures that most participants can find a suitable distance. The route runs through downtown Reykjavík, scenic residential areas, and along the seaside paths. www.rmi.is/en
