Kyoto (Japan) - "Ancient trails of the Nakasendo". Join us on an amazing journey as we travel to trail run across ancient Japan. Japan has been a long-desired destination of the Pure Trails team, teeming with extraordinary trails and traditional wonders. As a result we think we have come up with a trail running adventure like no other. Over 12 days, our trail run will travel through the curious city streets of Kyoto, before following the quiet trails of the Nakasendo Way - an ancient pilgrim route - which is jam packed with traditional villages and blissful scenery. We'll then head over to the extraordinary Fuji-san National Park where we'll spend time climbing the trails and immersing ourselves in hot springs. We finish off the journey by exploring the bright lights of Tokyo which serves up a final slice of cultural wonder. www.pure-trails.com/trail-run-japan-ancient-trails-of-the-nakasendo-2
