Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) - "Hope and Possibility Marathon". This marathon run is an inclusive public sports and social event that brings together people with developmental disabilities and the general public, open to everyone, and based on equal participation. This run aims to spread faith, hope, and opportunity through physical activity. Goals: to increase the courage, confidence, and self?belief of people with developmental disabilities; to promote a healthy, active lifestyle in society; to implement equal participation and shared values in practice. Who can participate? People with developmental disabilities; Anyone who enjoys running or walking; Families, friends, organizations, groups. No age, speed, or experience requirements. Why is your participation important? Your registration fee supports the following activities: walking and running training for people with developmental disabilities; participation opportunities in competitions and races; programs that encourage courage, confidence, and hope. Organizer: Achilles Mongolia NGO. Achilles Mongolia has organized the “Faith Hope Possibility” public marathon run every year since 2015, on the third Saturday of September. Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) - "Gobi March". Trace the footsteps of the legendary Genghis Khan across Mongolia's vast, untouched steppe. The Gobi March and UltraLite (Mongolia) unfold amid sand dunes, rugged canyons, and endless horizons as competitors race up to 250 km / 155 mile over seven days. The race goes through the Khar Bukh Balgas Fortress, many stupas and temples, traditional Mongolian ger villages, the UNESCO World Heritage Centre of the Orkhon Valley, and finally ends at the Ancient City of Karakorum. Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) - "UltraLite Mongolia". UltraLite (Mongolia) 2027 begins on 20 June at the Khar Bukh Balgas Fortress and takes place in the stunning Karakorum region of Central Mongolia. Competitors will weave their way across wide Mongolian steppes, sand dunes and great rock valleys as they complete the 250-kilometer / 155-mile course. This also includes vast green grasslands, stupas and temples, and old forests. At times, competitors will sleep in traditional Mongolian Gers.
