Faust, Utah (United States of America) - "Pony Express Trail 100". Here's your chance to run in the wild west on the historic Pony Express Trail in western Utah. This is a 100 mile and 50 mile run. The course is VERY remote and a support crew is required to provide support along the way. The course is 100% dirt road and only has about 3,000 feet elevation gain/loss. Alabaster, Alabama (United States of America) - "The Endless Mile". Have you ever wondered just how far you could run in 6, 12 or 24 hours or maybe even 48 hours on a smooth, level surface. Well, here is your chance. The Endless Mile will be held at Veteran's Park in Alabaster, Alabama on October 19, 20 & 21, 2018. The park is 26 miles south of downtown Birmingham, and 16 miles south of I 459. The asphalt walking path that we will use is flat, winds through wooded areas and past several lakes. Haymarket, Virginia (United States of America) - "Leopold's Trail Run". Choose your distance (10K, 5K, or 1-mile), enlist your running buddies, and explore Leopold's Preserve on a beautiful fall evening at this 5th annual, pet friendly trail run! We are very excited to announce that the event has expanded to now include a 10K run that utilizes 90% of the trails in Leopold's Preserve, which gives you the opportunity to take in all the sights and sounds Leopold's Preserve offers. Door County, Wisconsin (United States of America) - "The Fall 50". The Fall 50 is designed to be a daylong running adventure set against the colorful backdrop of Door County, Wisconsin during peak Fall colors. Participants may compete as members of a team of 2-5 runners or as a solo ultra-marathoner. The course starts at the northern tip of the Door County peninsula at Gills Rock. The starting line is in front of the Shoreline Restaurant, just up the hill from the Washington Island Ferry parking lot. The course travels south primarily on back roads along the western shoreline. It passes through quaint villages and beautiful park areas including Ellison Bay, Sister Bay, Ephraim, Peninsula Park, Fish Creek, Juddville, Egg Harbor, Murphy Park, Little Harbor, Old Stone Quarry Park and finally Sturgeon Bay. The Fall 50 has a wave start. All solo runners will start at 7 am while the teams will start in one of four waves at 7:45 am, 8:30 am, 9:15 am or 10:00 am. In the first week of October, the teams will be assigned a start time based on their anticipated “team pace”, with the slowest teams starting earlier and the fastest teams starting later. This approach will concentrate the arrival of most participants to the finish line between 4 and 6pm on Saturday. Team pace is calculated by taking the average of the team members’ paces. The finish line celebration will begin at 1 pm at Sunset Park in Sturgeon Bay beneath a massive big top tent. Participants will cross the finish line directly in front of the party tent to the cheers and jeers of fellow runners. A DJ will be playing music and announcing the names of finishers for the friends, family, teammates and competitors waiting beneath the tent. The finish line buffet will include beer, soda, and pizza. Admission to the party tent is free of charge to participants. Family and friends may enter the tent for a fee – $20 for adults, $10 for children ages 7-17, children age 6 & under are free. The awards ceremony will take place at 6:30 pm. www.fall50.com

Greensboro, North Carolina (United States of America) - "Triple Lakes Trail Race". Now in the 14th year, this event is a favorite of all North Carolina trail runners. We have seem blazing fast times but don’t be fooled the course isn’t a walk in the park. The race is also perfect for the beginner trail runner because of the gorgeous scenery. The backdrop for the race is Bur Mil which is a great place for the family to come spend the day in the park while you are off running in the woods. Bur Mil has 3 par golf course, driving range, great playground and nature center. The event has 3 races including half marathon, marathon and 40 mile. The Marathon and 40 also feature a relay division so grab a couple of buddies on take on this race as a relay. We have a great post race feast and beer awaiting all finishers. Clermont, Florida (United States of America) - "Great Floridian Endurance Festival". Swim Course: A 2.4 mile swim in picturesque Lake Minneola, designated as "Outstanding Waters" by the State of Florida. Athletes swim three laps of a .8 mile course. Projected water temperature: 72-80. Swim cut-off is 2 hours and 30 minutes after the start. Participants still swimming after the cut-off time will not be allowed to continue. Bike Course: A 3 lap course covering 112 miles along the scenic rural country roads of South Lake County. Expect numerous rolling hills and a steep but short climb up legendary Sugarloaf Mountain. Technical support teams will travel the course and support/aid stations will be located approximately 10-12 miles apart. The official bike course cut-off is at 6:30 pm. All participants still on the course at that time will not be allowed to continue and will be removed from the course. There is also an intermediate cut-off time associated with the 112 mile bike course. The cutoff point is at the the second special needs station at the end of lap 2. All cyclists must reach this location by 4:15 pm or they will not be allowed to continue on the bike course. Run Course: The 26.2 mile run is a 3 lap course utilizing the South Lake Trail. Support/aid stations will be located approximately one mile apart. Each support station is equipped with water, thirst quencher, ice, sponges, cola (defizzed), fruit and assorted foods. Savage, Minnesota (United States of America) - "Surf the Murph". The 2018 race will be held Oct. 20, 2018 at Murphy-Hanrehan Park. This is a suburban course through a beautiful park. All races are on trails with two miles of single track, although the south end of the course runs like a single track due to the horses. All races will start at 15501 Murphy Lake Road, Savage, MN. These events are to be competitive and fun. They will be official races, however most of the prizes and awards will be for costumes to go along with the Halloween theme. www.surfthemurph.org
