Redding, Connecticut (United States of America) - "Redding Rock 'n Roots 9K". The 9k (5.59 miler) runs through some of Redding's most aesthetically pleasing areas, including 2 jaunts though Putnam State Park where you may meet a Colonial soldier or two during an American Revolution re-enactment. This course is very runnable (300 feet of total climbs) and will have 3 aid stations along the course with water and Gatorade. There are bathrooms at the beginning and end, and in Putnam State Park at the halfway point. All participants will receive their choice of a short sleeve tech shirt or a singlet and other great gifts. Finishers will also receive a cool medal.
