Falmouth, Massachusetts (United States of America) - "ASICS Falmouth Road Race". Race was established in 1973 and has become one of the premier running events of the summer season. Each year the race draws an international field of Olympians, elite athletes, and recreational runners to enjoy the iconic 7-mile seaside course. The nonprofit organization is committed to promoting health and fitness through community programs and philanthropic giving. Runners can gain early access (or guaranteed entry) into this "Bucket List" event by raising funds for a charity through the Numbers for Nonprofits program, which is presented in partnership with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, who have been participating in the program for 22 years. This program has helped raise over $63.7 million since 2000, which includes a record-breaking $7.2 million raised at the 2023 event. Jerry's Run for All Ages 5K race is named after Jerry Panarese who was a member of the New England 65+ Runners Club and who became the director of the Run of All Ages which was held in Wakefield, MA for 25 years. The race will keep Jerry's spirit and race alive through our Run Medford event. The race is the latest event created by legendary race director and Medford native Dave McGillivray!
