Gibsonville, North Carolina (United States of America) - "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Half Marathon and 5 mile". The half marathon course is a great first timers course that has well marked, wide trails. On any trail, weather and conditions drastically effect the difficulty level of the course, but this course is scenic, fun and achievable. The entire trail is taped off at any intersection where athletes could potentially go the wrong way, and there are turn signs at every turn. The course crosses the Reedy Fork River twice during the race, making this an epic and unforgettable race! Racers will have access to bathrooms at multiple places on the course, and will pass 5 aid stations on course. The WTF 5 Mile is a great intro to trail running race, or a great early season short course trail race. Athletes will complete 1 loop around Northeast Park on the gorgeous and well maintained hike/bike trails. This course is extremely well marked with trail intersections taped off, and turn signs at every turn. Athletes will not cross the Reedy Fork River in the 5 mile event.
