Greenville, South Carolina (United States of America) - "Resolution Run". 12-6-3 Hour Ultra & 5k. Bring in the New Year with a few loose rocks! Season's Greetings! Welcome to this years annual Resolution Run and end of year SCUM Bag New Year Bash! We welcome all to this years festival of races to celebrate the beginning of a new year and to say good riddance to the current one! Resolution Run Ultra is a timed race on a 1 mile looped course. All races will end at the same time promptly at 7pm. The race will be supported with one Aid Station but will be Self Timed and Recorded. We ask that you bring a "unique" cup/mug that you will use to place rocks in as you complete your 1 Mile laps around the park. What: 5k & 3 - 6 - 12 Hours of Walking, Running, Rolling in the New Year. Where: Sunset Park, 211 Fowler Cir, Greenville, SC 29607. Packet Pickup: 1 Hour Prior to your race start time near starting line. Our Race is Youth 8 & Under Race for Free Walker Friendly Stroller Friendly Dog Friendly. 5k Run Event starts at 9am, 12 Hour Event starts at 7am, 6 Hour Event starts at 1pm, 3 Hour Events starts at 4pm. The course is a 1 mile paved loop with less than 15 feet of elevation per mile. Timed runners will perform as many full complete laps in the allotted time frame. 5k Runners will will run a short segment around the soccer fields before running 3 full laps. Participants Receive: Upstate Race Series Shirt, Finisher Medal, Custom Race Logo Sticker, Upstate Ultra Sticker, Custom Race Bib, Complimentary Race Photos Race Awards. Each finisher will receive a finisher medal that will be branded with the race logo and custom lanyard. We will also publish our age group results that will coincide with our Race Series. There are plenty of parking spaces available near the start/stop loop and ample space to set up a personal pop up tent, aid stop if you wish along the course. The 5k race will be manually timed with a gun start results so please be on time for accurate results. Athletes are permitted to have a drop bag or personal tent near the aid station. Please be mindful to place your personal belongings off the course as to not impede the runners, the flow of traffic, or other race participants. The start and finish line loop will serve as the official drop bag area designation. When you are finished with your race please "pack in and pack out" making the host facility look better than you found it. There is 1 aid station on course during the 1 mile loop. Items may include: pickles, cookies, chips, Little Debbie snacks, assorted candy, chicken/veggie broth, fig newtons, & pretzels. Liquids will include water, Tailwind Nutrition, coke, and ginger ale.
