Join us on October 26, 2024 for the 4th Annual Bulldogs on the Run 5K & Bark. The mission of the event is to promote health and fitness, while providing financial support to students attending South Carolina State University. The 5k is a 3.1 mile course that will occur in the downtown area of the Garden City. The race will begin inside of Edisto Memorial Garden, at The Orangeburg Fine Arts Center. The address is 649 Riverside Drive, Orangeburg, SC 29115. The Bark is a 1.0 mile out-and-back route that will stretch along the outskirts of the 5K route. The starting address is the same as the 5K, listed above. After the finish, please join us in a post race celebration. All ages and fitness levels are welcome to participate. Weather Policy The races will be held, rain or shine, unless Bulldogs on the Run determines that conditions are too dangerous. This will be based on a prudent decision made on race weekend or race day by Bulldogs on the Run and local law enforcement officials. If the race is canceled due to inclement weather there will be neither refunds nor transfers. This position is consistent with USA Track & Field recommendations and with the protocol of sharing the risks associated with the sport of running. In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, Bulldogs on the Run reserves the right to alter, cancel or eliminate any/all portions of the race.
