Dallas, Texas (United States of America) - "Virtual American Heart Association 10K Race, 5K Run & Walk". In order to control the spread of Covid-19, the CDC is recommending postponing events and gatherings with crowds of 50 or more. As a result, we have adopted strategies that allow participants to fully experience the 10K Race, 5K Run & Walk virtually. This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the American Heart Association's Healthy for Good 10K Race, 5K Run and Walk, so starting on May 14th we will be launching 30 days of content culminating in a world-wide effort to celebrate our impact on June 13th. Activities will include a virtual leaderboard, suggested routes to run your own 10K or 5K, training tips, more opportunities for you to engage with our mission digitally, and healthy living resources to look after yourself and your loved ones while social distancing. https://www2.heart.org/site/TR?fr_id=5486&pg=entry

Spicewood, Texas (United States of America) - "Capt'n Karl's Muleshoe Bend Trail Race". The event is held at Muleshoe Bend LCRA Recreation Area. Approximately 40 miles northwest of Austin in picturesque Spicewood, TX. Muleshoe Bend is located on the scenic Lower Colorado River, Lake Travis region. This course is challenging, rocky, technical with 3094 feet of elevation gain. These trails are deceptively tough, with the heat and humidity making Muleshoe Bend a worthy adversary. This is primarily due to the thick foliage and heavy wood, creating a peaceful environment and no wind. Get ready to sweat. www.tejastrails.com/ck-muleshoe

Burnet, Texas (United States of America) - "Capt'n Karl's Reveille Peak Ranch Trail Race". Our night time trail series concludes most appropriately at one of the best privately owned adventure parks in all of Texas, the amazing Reveille Peak Ranch! This park is located 55 miles northwest of Austin in the historic town of Burnet. The amenities are first class and we will be taking advantage of this by providing our runners, spectators and volunteers with a series finale party. But first, runners will be treated to unique and spectacular geological formations. Navigating over large rock domes with amazing views, while tackling the most elevation gain of our four venues (3812 ft). This course really has it all... single track, exposure, tree-covered woods, hills and technicality. All to challenge even the most seasoned trail runner. www.tejastrails.com/ck-reveille

Spicewood, Texas (United States of America) - "Mellow Trail Run". New this year, we are changing the name to the Mellow Trail Run and moving the start/finish to the edge of the lake. So when you finish, you can cruise right into the water to cool off and start your floating post-race party! This means, as the lake rises and falls each year, the distance will probably change slightly, so we'll add "ish" to each distance... and that's perfect when everything and everyone stays mellow. www.tejastrails.com/mellow
