Redmond, Washington (United States of America) - "Lake Sammamish Half Marathon". The 10th annual Lake Sammamish Half Marathon is a newly USATF CERTIFIED course that takes runners along the smooth trail that connects Marymoor Park in Redmond to Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah. This interurban trail is very popular with runners; about 30% of the course will be on smooth gravel surface and 70% on pavement. We also offer a half-marathon walk category with a generous 4-hour time limit. This flat run is perfect for a half-marathon personal best whether you're running or walking! The race is chip-timed, and each racer will receive a custom bib, a finisher medal, a beanie and running gloves and sponsor products. Boise, Idaho (United States of America) - "Les Bois 10K". The course starts and finishes at Fort Boise Park in Boise Idaho. The race is run completely on dirt roads. This course is an out-and-back, meaning you climb to 3.1 miles and then turn around and descend back to the Start/Finish Line. The course is challenging but is a great trial run for training for trail running. The race utilizes the Military Reserve Area behind Fort Boise Park.

Laurel, Mississippi (United States of America) - "Carl Touchstone Memorial Mississippi 50 Trail Run". The Carl Touchstone Memorial Mississippi Trail 50 is held in early March each year on the Longleaf Horse Trail in the De Soto National Forest just south of Laurel, MS. The race was moved from Leland to Laurel in 1996 by Carl Touchstone, a local dentist and accomplished ultra runner. The 2020 race will be the 24th anniversary of the race in Laurel, and the 20th that commemorates Carl's untimely death due to cancer. The course features soft dirt trails, pine needle paths, and fire roads on 12.5 and 6.1 mile loops through the piney woods. The 20K runners do the long loop and are finished. The 50K runners run the big loop twice, and finish on the small loop. The 50M runners do the big loop three times and the small loop twice. This is a relatively easy course and a good first 20K / 50K / 50 Miler. www.ms50.com
