Runners, relay teams, and crews will once again take on the rare chance to cross Michigan’s Lower Peninsula from lake to lake, racing from Petoskey to Alpena on a route built for grit, beauty, and pure endurance. Choose your challenge: 100 Mile – the full Lake-to-Lake journey, point-to-point across the state; 100K – a point-to-point test of strength that starts at Tomahawk Lake Campground and finishes in Alpena; 50K – an early Sunday morning out-and-back from Alpena with smooth surfaces, generous cutoffs, and the same Wolverine spirit; 100 Mile Relay – team up and conquer the distance together. Expect a mix of singletrack trail, gravel and limestone roads, and quiet seasonal roads through Northern Michigan’s forests and farm country.
