Munich, Bavaria (Germany) - "Generali München Marathon". Since 2000 the München Marathon, which took place for the first time in 1983, has been organized by the München Marathon GmbH. The traditional event takes place annually, always one week after the Oktoberfest and is one of the top five marathon events in Germany. More than 21,000 runners take part every year.
