Champaign, Illinois (United States of America) - "Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend". The Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend will take to the streets of Champaign, Urbana, and Savoy, IL from April 23–25, 2026. The events offer a beautiful, scenic tour of the University of Illinois campus, downtown streets, tree-lined residential neighborhoods, and an awesome paved park trail. Thousands of friendly, fun fans and volunteers from the community line the course to cheer on and support participants. Participants will also experience the unique and thrilling finish line located at the 50-yard line of the University of Illinois’ historic Memorial Stadium. New features at this year’s Race Weekend include two multi-race i-Challenge events for runners looking to expand their Race Weekend experience. The Micro i-Challenge combines the Michael Hogue Team Mile and the 5K, and the Nano i-Challenge connects the Michael Hogue Team Mile and the Busey Illinois Youth Run. Both challenges feature the shortest distances offered during the weekend, allowing beginners and sprinters of all ages to double up their participation, swag, and medals. Packet pickup takes place at the Health and Fitness Expo at the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC), 201 E. Peabody, Champaign, IL, on Thursday, April 23 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, April 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Race times are Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. for the Michael Hogue Team Mile; Friday, April 24, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. for the 5K and from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. for the 4th Mile Street Fest; and Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 7:31 a.m. for the wheelchair half marathon, 7:33 a.m. for the marathon and half marathon, 8:00 a.m. for the 10K, 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the 27th-Mile Celebrate Victory Bash, and 3:00 p.m. for the Youth Run. Participant perks include a unique race shirt for each event, a drawstring backpack, a commemorative heatsheet, course entertainment, a fleece blanket for marathon finishers, a unique finisher medal for each event, and delicious post-race food.
