Falmouth, Massachusetts | Sunday, August 16, 2026 | 7-mile run The Falmouth Road Race was established in 1973 and has become one of the premier running events of the summer season. Each year the race draws an international field of Olympians, elite athletes, and recreational runners to enjoy the iconic 7-mile seaside course. The nonprofit organization is committed to promoting health and fitness through community programs and philanthropic giving. Runners can gain early access (or guaranteed entry) into this "Bucket List" event by raising funds for a charity through the Numbers for Nonprofits program, which is presented in partnership with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, who have been participating in the program for 23 years. This program has helped raise over $80.4 million since 2000, which includes a record-breaking $8.9 million raised at the 2025 event.
