Macon, Georgia (United States of America) - "Macon Music Half Marathon". We are proud to announce the 4th annual Macon Music Half Marathon to be held on November 21, 2026. It will start and end in Carolyn Crayton Park (Central City Park). Following three successful years with runners from 26 States, we are thrilled to plan for an even better event in 2026. The course will take you by locations showing the musical heritage of Macon including the Grand Opera House, the Big House, Little Richard's home, Capricorn Studios, Otis Redding Foundation, and Mercer's McDuffie Center for Strings as well as other historic and cultural sites. Attractions along the course are currently being planned. Atherton and to raise money for a scholarship fund in her name to benefit college students who have lost a parent to cancer, and who display the qualities possessed by Kendra. As of today, the k5k: A Run for Kendra has awarded over $170,000 in scholarships to students who have lost a parent to cancer.
