Sherwood Park, Alberta (Canada) - "Survivorfest Running Event". Survivorfest Running Event is an annual International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU) bronze qualifying 6 hour, 12 hour & 24 hour timed running event to raise awareness and funds for Saffron Centre, our local sexual assault centre to educate our children against sexual violence. Our motto is “Celebration of Strength, Sacrifice and Survival”. Since 2019, we have raised over $38 000. 18+ hours of live DJ music. Timing provided by Mike Melton of MCM Timing. Our event is livestreamed so family, friends and fans can witness and support athletes throughout our event. Athletes can participate in solo or relay, on site or virtual. Every athlete gets a Lululemon finisher tshirt. We offer 2 different loops. One 400 metre track and the other a touch over 1 mile, but still involving the the track.
