Waterfall, Pennsylvania (United States of America) - "End of the Road Half Marathon & One Tunnel 4 Miler". Race along the abandoned Pennsylvania Turnpike, where runners and walkers from across the US come for this unique experience. This stretch of the Turnpike was bypassed in 1968, leaving two tunnels and miles of roadway untouched by traffic for nearly 50 years. At this original old turnpike Half Marathon, participants will run five miles underground through the old tunnels and the rest surrounded by stunning fall foliage. For those wanting a shorter distance, the One Tunnel Four Miler offers 2.4 miles inside the tunnels along with a taste of the course’s history. This two-day event limits each day of racing to 600 runners to prevent crowding. Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 18th and Sunday, October 19th, 2025, in Waterfall, Pennsylvania! https://runsignup.com/Race/PA/Waterfall/EndoftheRoadMarathon?aflt_token=7LipmEOzbECERDzMZ3v2Xv14ohnqORDf

Aiken, South Carolina (United States of America) - "The Battle of the Run Clubs". Form your team to compete for bragging rights at the inaugural Battle of the Run Clubs! Each runner may choose the distance that suits them best. There will be 6 races: Men's 10 mile, Women's 10 mile, Men's 10k, Women's 10k, Men's 5k, and Women's 5k. Each race will be scored equally, as follows: 1st place 1 point, 2nd place 2 points, 3rd place 3 points, 4th place 4 points, and so on. Team scores will consist of the top 4 best placings, with the goal of earning the lowest overall team score. Additional runners on a team will not add to the score, but can contribute by bumping runners from other teams down in the rankings. All teams may be of the same gender and run the same race, or any combination of distances and genders that you choose, and there is no limit to the number of racers from a single club. The more the merrier. There is a tiny bit of strategy involved, as a "perfect" team score of 4 (4 wins) does actually require multiple distances and genders. Not a member of a run club but have a fun group of friends you train with? Make up a fun name and come represent! Winning team's name will be engraved on a perpetual trophy to be displayed at Stable View and individual trophies will be awarded to winners. Post-race Graze & Gaze (food) at The Bistro @ Stable View for all participants is included with entry. For those wishing to wake up near the start line or to linger longer after the race, Stable View offers contemporary lodging — perfect for easing those post-race muscles — or RV hook ups. Participants can enjoy the peaceful country setting, but also not be too far away from dining, sightseeing, and shopping in historic downtown Aiken. Further details, pictures, and booking for accommodations is on Airbnb or via email to reserve directly with Stable View. All RV reservations must reserve directly via Stable View. www.svagatheringplace.com/aiken-trails-club
