Chicago Ridge, Illinois (United States of America) - "Run the Ridge Mary E. Smith Brain Tumor Awareness 5K". We need you—individual walkers or fundraising teams! Join us Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am for an outdoor walk/run rain or shine along the perimeter of the Chicago Ridge Mall to support brain tumor/cancer patients, scholarships, and research (enter off 99th Street Ridgeland Ave. to access the South Parking Lot of Dick's Sporting Goods). Event tentative agenda: 6:30 am–7:30 am vendor set up, 7:30 am–8:00 am vendor booths and registration open, 8:15 am presentations, 8:30 am walk start, 10:30 am entertainment, 10:45 am honor/memory ceremony. The event typically concludes around 11:30 am/12 pm. Vendors will remain open throughout. Entry is $40 for chipped timed run/walk, t-shirt, and finisher medals, with placement medals and team prizes. Price increases to $45 on April 1, $50 on June 1, and onsite registration is $55. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed until June 1, 2025.
