Dogs must be on a leash (6 ft. max) at all times and must have a current rabies inoculation. Puppies six months of age or younger, or female dogs in any stage of heat, will not be allowed to participate. A dog whose behavior is unruly or might prove hazardous to other participants, dogs, or spectators will be asked to leave the race. It is strongly recommended to consult with your veterinarian before registering, as they may advise against participation depending on your pet’s health status. All registered participants receive a long-sleeve cotton t-shirt, with the design to be posted as the race nears. All dogs that complete the walk or run will receive a medal.
