Logan, Utah (United States of America) - "Cytiva Top of Utah Marathon". The Cytiva Top of Utah Marathon in Logan, Utah, is one of the Beehive State’s oldest and continuous running marathons, celebrating its 27th year. Unlike many races, it doesn’t require participants to be transported by bus to a distant starting line at 3:30am; instead, runners can arrive and park near the start/finish line in Historic Downtown Logan on or before 7:00am. The event is the USA Track & Field Utah Marathon Championship Race for 2025, offering $6,800 in prize money to the top three open male and female runners and the top three masters (40 and over) male and female runners, as well as ribbon slides for the top three in each of 18 age divisions. Race headquarters will be at Sol Speak Yoga, 60 West 100 North, Logan, open Friday, September 19, 2025, from 12pm to 6pm. Packet pick-up is available during that time or on Saturday, September 20, from 6am to 8am at the same location, and includes a bib number with timing chip, pins, and an official race shirt. Timing for the marathon, 20K, 10K, and 5K will be managed by the Runnercard Mobile App using an RFID tag on the bib, which must be visible on the runner’s front outer clothing. Bib numbers are non-transferable. The races follow USATF rules, prohibit personal support vehicles, and do not allow unauthorized bicycles or non-registered pacers. Start times are 7:10am for the marathon, 7:30am for the 20K, 7:50am for the 10K, and 8:10am for the 5K, with runners queuing in the chute five minutes before their race. Gun start timing will be used, and awards are determined by RFID tag time. Marathon runners will have access to 18 aid stations plus the start and finish, all offering Pure Culligan Water.
