Atlanta, Georgia (United States of America) - "Chastain Chase 5K". The Chastain Chase is a family-friendly run that winds through the beautiful and historic area of Chastain Park. This annual springtime event is designed for runners and non-runners alike, encouraging the highest level of community involvement. Participants can run the 5K course, or experience the 1 mile walking course. Families and strollers are welcome! Registration for Walk-Up participants opens at 7am and the 5K starts at 8am sharp. The 1-mile walk will begin upon completion of the 5K. The Chastain Chase benefits Cancer Support Community Atlanta, a nonprofit organization affiliated with Northside Hospital Cancer Institute, dedicated to providing support services for people facing cancer. Funds raised will help provide support groups, stress reduction classes, nutrition programs and education forums to support people through a cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.

Flower Mound, Texas (United States of America) - "DFW Burning Soles Trail Series (Race 1)". The hottest racing in town is bringing a new heat to the DFW metroplex with the Burning Soles Trail Series. Beginning this June and running through August, compete in a 5K or 10K series over 8 weeks this summer, alternating trails between Northshore Trail in Flower Mound and Erwin Park in McKinney to keep things fresh week to week. Trails will be well marked, with a lively and exciting finish line atmosphere, featuring some of the best singletrack trails in North Texas. Races will be chip timed for all participants, and when you arrive for your first race, you will be assigned and given a runner’s bib for the series—bring that bib back with you each time you race. The schedule switches weekly to provide great off-road racing opportunities of varying technical capabilities. The series kickoff and finale will be held at the Northshore Trail MADD Shelter, and two rain dates per round are included to accommodate rescheduling if needed. Round 1 includes Race 1 on June 4 at Northshore, Race 2 on June 11 at Erwin Park, Race 3 on June 18 at Northshore, Race 4 on June 25 at Erwin Park, with Rain Dates on July 9 and July 17. Round 2 continues with Race 5 on July 23 at Erwin Park, Race 6 on July 30 at Northshore, Race 7 on August 6 at Erwin Park, Race 8 on August 13 at Northshore, with Rain Dates on August 21 and August 28. Races will feature a mass start for each distance with the 10K starting at 6:30 PM and the 5K starting at 7:15 PM. Registration fees for juniors (13 and under) are $16 for full series registration, $20 for pre-registration, and $30 for late registration; for adults (14+), it's $24 for full series, $30 for pre-registration, and $40 for late registration. Each weekly race will award the top 3 male and female finishers for each distance, with age groups also recognized on the podium. At the end of the 8-week series, final awards will recognize the top 3 in each division. Racers from both 5K and 10K distances will be on the course at the same time, with 10K racers getting a 45-minute head start to ensure spacing. Distances are approximate and may vary based on trail conditions. The DFW Series provides local, accessible, and family-friendly trail races focused on community building and volunteer efforts. The trails are maintained by the Dallas Off-Road Bicycle Association (DORBA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit—consider becoming a DORBA member for just $40 per year to support their work on 28 trails and over 265 miles of singletrack. There are no refunds for the Burning Soles Trail Series, but transfers to alternate dates are accepted if needed. Pocatello, Idaho (United States of America) - "The Scout Mountain Ultras". Welcome to The Scout Mountain Ultras! Formerly the Pocatello 50, these races have evolved over the last few years. We now will be offering the following distances: 100 miles, 50 miles, 50k and 23 miles. We are finalizing the details of the courses, but they are going to build off of the previous 50 mile and 100 kilometer events that were held in the past. We are including several lesser known sections of trail and providing the 100 mile runners to summit Old Tom Mountain, Kinport Peak, and Scout Mountain. Over the 100 mile and 50 mile courses there is less than 2 miles of pavement, the majority of the rest is some of the finest Idaho single track. These are difficult mountain races and will certain provide plenty of adventure and challenge for those lucky enough to get a spot.
