Dansville, Michigan (United States of America) - "Bigfoot Challenge 5k/8k Memorial Day Run/Walk". The 48th Annual Memorial Day Bigfoot Challenge 5K/8K starts at 8:30 a.m. in the little town of Dansville, where participants can run with Bigfoot. A parade follows the race at 12:00 p.m. All entries receive a T-shirt and a Bigfoot Finishing Medal, with a new patriotic T-shirt design available in two colors; sign up early to guarantee a shirt. Entry fees are $27 until March 16, $29 until April 14, $31 until May 14, and day-of registration is $39 by cash, check, or online sign-up. Family discount codes are available for three or more participants, and participants can run for free by donating $100. The Little Foot race for children 12 and under has an entry fee of $15 in advance and $20 on race day, starting at 8:10 a.m. on the track, with participants receiving a medal and T-shirt. Children can run one or two laps, and Bigfoot will run one lap with the younger kids. Results for the 5K and 8K will be chip-timed and texted to participants, with live results on the website.
