This memorial will feature the names of officers who were killed in the line of duty and who either graduated from UNG or worked for the UNG Police Department. The race will take place on the UNG Dahlonega Campus. The course features approximately 400 feet of elevation gain, with the final quarter mile offering a very fast, gradual downhill finish. A water station will be located at the roundabout before lap two begins. The race welcomes both runners and walkers and has a one-hour time limit, equivalent to a 20-minute mile pace. Course support and official timing will not be available for those who do not complete the course within the time limit. Strollers and dogs are not permitted due to safety concerns related to narrow walkways and barriers. Headphones are allowed but should be played at low volume to ensure awareness of other runners and race officials. There is no race day registration.
