Macon, Georgia (United States of America) - "Macon Music Half Marathon". We are proud to announce the 4th annual Macon Music Half Marathon to be held on November 21, 2026. It will start and end in Carolyn Crayton Park (Central City Park). Following three successful years with runners from 26 States, we are thrilled to plan for an even better event in 2026. The course will take you by locations showing the musical heritage of Macon including the Grand Opera House, the Big House, Little Richard's home, Capricorn Studios, Otis Redding Foundation, and Mercer's McDuffie Center for Strings as well as other historic and cultural sites. Attractions along the course are currently being planned. The Beaverfoot is a trail run featuring a trail 11 Miler & 22 Miler in the Ouachita Mountains of Eastern Oklahoma at Beavers Bend State Park. Who wouldn’t want to spend the day after Thanksgiving out on the stunning trails through Cane Creek Mountains Natural Area? This course is extremely well marked and offers beautiful views throughout. All turns are marked with hanging tape and turn signs. As the park will remain open to hikers, no trails will be marked off; rather, we will use Wrong Way signs. So we created this trail running weekend right here in the outskirts of Austin (in the amazingly rapidly-growing Liberty Hill) to give us an excuse to play together.
